Is Howard not in this list because of the first-come-first-served nature of the scholarships?
[Grants, Scholarships & Fellowships - Howard University](http://www.howard.edu/financialaid/grants_scholarships.htm#Freshman)

Yes, I left out Howard (and Hampton) for that reason. Not sure if that’s the right call or not …,

my vote, fwiw, would be to put them in, with a clear caveat – although they’re not strictly
“guaranteed”, I feel that most people looking for assured merit would be happy to have the information about these schools as well.

You might want to include Howard (or others with similar limitations), but with a prominent note that the scholarship awards are automatic for stats but are first come first serve until the scholarship money for that year runs out (so people interested in them should apply early).

The other thing that may be helpful in the listings is whether there is a college GPA (higher than the one needed to avoid academic probation or dismissal) needed to retain the scholarship.

Thank you!

The only scholarships I can find on the NKU admissions pages are described as “very competitive.” I don’t see anything about scholarships that are automatically awarded based on ACT Score.

Sorry.
<a href=“Scholarships: Northern Kentucky University, Greater Cincinnati Region”>Scholarships: Northern Kentucky University, Greater Cincinnati Region;

Unfortunately, the NKU scholarships are not automatic. According to the [NKU website](<a href=“Scholarships: Northern Kentucky University, Greater Cincinnati Region”>Scholarships: Northern Kentucky University, Greater Cincinnati Region):

*The scholarship process is very competitive. Generally, students with academic merits at these levels or higher will receive scholarship consideration. Meeting the guidelines listed below does not guarantee you a scholarship offer . . . *

[Latest update. Added Winthrop and SE Louisiana. Added Howard University with the caveat that awards are “First-come, first-served” and will include other awards of this nature as they are identified.]

I’m curious about Oklahoma City University. On their website, I could only find that they give a $6000 academic merit award + a $9000 departmental award for GPA/SAT, rather than a full tuition award (which would be about $26,000). Does anyone know if this is a recent change, or am I missing the full-tuition scholarship page?

Looks like OCU decided not to offer the scholarship next year.

Hmmm … This page still lists the Trustee (full tuition) scholarship.

http://www2.okcu.edu/admission/international/scholarships.aspx#freshmen

It looks like that links to the International admissions page, so perhaps that is the answer - just for International students.

I think they just haven’t updated the international version of the page. It would be very unusual to give better scholarships to internationals.

Thought I’d point out that the Northern Illinois scholarship is only valid as long as there are funds. My daughter met the requirements but got nothing because the funding was exhausted.

Not sure if it’s mentioned already but Temple University in Philadelphia offers full tuition for high stats(at least 3.75 GPA as they calculate it) and I think a 1400 SAT. There are some educational stipends too. and they offer a partial scholarship with at least a 3.4 GPA and 1350 SAT
http://admissions.temple.edu/sites/admissions/files/uploads/188_1213_scholarship_info_sheet.pdf

The Temple awards are competitive, not automatic.

It may also be helpful to list the keeper GPAs for each school.
