automatically defer me to regular decision since I didn't take this test?

Do they automatically defer me to regular decision if i didn't complete the test requirement?

So this is my case:
I applied ED to a school. That school requires all students who are not native speakers (english) to take the TOEFL, unless the student has attained a 670 or higher on the SAT's reading section, OR has lived in the US for more than 5 years.

I don't have a 670+, nor those ''5 years'' (only 3 or 4), and for some reasons I could not take the TOEFL until 12/4, (the score will be available within 2 weeks, but it's still quite late), so do they just automatically defer me to regular to decision?

bumpbumppp

seems your file is incomplete…

Depending on the school, they could deny you since your application did not fulfill their requested elements. Or they could defer you into Regular Decision. It would be best if you contact them immediately to explain the late test scores and request a change to RD if they cannot consider the December scores.
