<p>I just got an automated message from Northeastern and my application was denied because I am an idiot and did not know that Calculus was a requirement as a transfer student. Do you think on Monday I could call them and ask if they would let me change my major to Journalism and then I'll take Calculus over the summer and switch to the Business Administration college? Or once they go over your application do they just throw it out? I have really good grades, 4.0 last semester and headed for another 4.0 this semester.</p>
<p>If your application was otherwise amazing, I think they should give you this much leverage.</p>
