<p>These are groups of incoming freshmen led by a group of 4 or so current students (the Avantis), and they basically are there to help break the ice and teach you about a few things you should know before you come down here. You are broken up by last name, and you are only with them for a few specific times, and they should be called Avanti sessions on your schedule for orientation, when you finally get that.</p>
