Does anyone know what the average act was for those excepted for plme? Has anyone called to find out? I tried but my phone service does not connect out of my state.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about that. As long as your scores (particularly science) are high, it won't keep you out. When I took a summer course at Brown, I spoke with a PLME inductee who had gotten a 1450/1600 on her SATs, so they aren't looking for perfect standardized test scores by any means.
That said, I'd guess it's around 34 or so. E-mail an admissions officer if you have to know, though.

Yeah. Nothing too picky...just 99th percentile. :)

=32 composite is 99th percentile I believe...

Does anyone know if they'll weigh the math and science section any more than the reading and english ones? Because I got a 36 on the math and 34 on the science, but the reading and english dragged my comp down to a miserable 32 (yeah... terrible I know... haha)

It would make sense for them to do so, but then again, they clearly state on their website that they require good writing and verbal skill, so you never know.

I thought I recently read that the 99th percentile is now 34 and higher. The stats just keep getting more and more competitive.

No, 32 composite still constitutes a 99th percentile score.

Competition is increasing because more people are applying to schools and programs, but national averages in standardized test scores are not increasing.

I'm hoping that I'll have really good essays that'll negate my less than stellar reading scores... writing has never really been my strong suit, but only test timed writing. My english teachers always tell me I write really good, just not when it's got to be like strict format writing, like SAT style or stuff like that.
