Average ApplyTexas to UIN time?

Hello,

After submitting via ApplyTexas, we received our UT UIN in a day.

It’s been 4 days now, and no TAMU UIN.

Any ideas? Could it be a tech problem I should email TAMU about, or does TAMU just take its time issuing a UIN?

I’ve heard it’s usually 3 to 4 business days, or so.

I had to wait 12 days after applying before my UIN was emailed to me this year. The process may be somewhat faster now that it’s September, but it seems that every year they receive more and more applications so it may take a bit longer than expected.

Thank you all for your replies. I wonder if UINs are assigned manually or by an automated process? I know TAMU will get tons of applications, but I felt a 8/31 submission would have be safe from the masses.

FYI - UIN received 9/7/15. 6 day turn around.
