what is the schedule of a bfa theatre student at any school (preferably university of miami) how many days a week to you go to class? how many classes do you take a day?
how much extra time do you have to yourself?

My D is taking 6-7 classes per semester her first year at Carnegie Mellon. She is in class 5 days a week and on 4 of those days, she has classes for 6-7 hours. Her “free” time is not really her own either. When she is not doing homework, which includes time-consuming design projects, she is on crew. While CMU is known for the amount of work, I suspect other programs are comparable.

k thanks but is that for mt?

stixx - That is for an MT major. You may want to check the websites for the schools you are most interested in and see if they post the 4 year curriculum for a BFA Acting degree. Here is the one from Coastal Carolina:

If you follow the Freshman Experience link LeftofPisa posted, you can read the weekly schedule of AlexaMT, who attends CCU. That should give you some idea of what the BFA Acting schedule would look like because they are taking many of the same classes.

That is a BFA for MT at a Conservatory.
