Average CC'er thread

This is a thread for all you average CC'ers.

And no, not the stereotypical average cc'er, but the true 'average' cc'er who doesn't have a 2200+ , who doesn't take a full blown AP schedule, who isn't president of a club, who hasn't started a nonprofit, who doesn't letter in 3 different sports.

Just wondering how many of you guys are out there like me.

Seems like the only people posting all have 237's on PSATS and 5's in AP's.

I have a 99 average and still, compared to the rest of CC, that might even be below average, lol.

As a junior I only have APUSH because it’s the only AP offered to juniors, and I got a 182 on my PSAT last year :P

I got a B in Honors Chem this past grading period… and I farted in my sleep last night.

You’re not alone… lol

raises hand proudly

A 31 on the ACT apparently puts me in the bottom 25% of the CC demographic.

I was proud of my 2120 on the SAT until I started looking at the threads on CC…

This thread makes me feel stupid…

This whole forum makes me feel dumb. I maintain like a 3.9 GPA, I take 2 AP classes and I haven’t taken the PSAT yet. I’ll take it next week, I do 2 clubs and a recreational sport. Impressive huh?

Holp up…

Someone really needs to define “the average student” to CC users, because clearly that idea is misconstrued here…

2230 SAT // 2400 SATII
10 APs
valedictorian

Yet I’m like 10th percentile

average guy right here, 3.77 GPA, 3 Advanced classes and 1 Honors, only one sport, basketball, and maybe student council next year if i have time? but yep, average and proud people :D

-_-

these are no where average.

I go to private school
have a 88 average
1800-1990 SAT( Gasps Someone screams," OMG you idiot")
30 ACT
President of ART Club, Vice Pres of. Multiculture club
taking one AP Junior Year ( Someone stands and shouts" Who is this joke!?")

However in the CC world this is fine…cause…I’m Black. (Takes hood off and hears Applause)

Woohoo, I’m not the only one! CC could make people feel really stupid hahah.

Yay for not having a 4.0!

Sent from my iPhone using CC

Hey, might as well make the rest of you feel good.

SAT:1620 (as of last year)

G.P.A: Not sure anymore, my average is a 91-93, low A.

President/leadership: Culture Committee (puts on the biggest school show of the year), that’s it. I made this bad-boy ;), Created slam poetry group in my community, so i’m president of that as well, I guess… Blogger,ex-EC of one of the school newspapers, EC of senior pages in my high school, ex-EC of sports newsletter, (by the way, the ex’s are by no means negative, I just could not do the papers anymore because my stupid school ran out of founding…), Latin Club officer

EC’s: Contributor for an Indian based newspaper, however it is internationally shared (I am in no way Indian), contributor to a national magazine, Published Poet, Teen Representative of city library, art-club, writing-club, book-club, student council, NHS, Literary magazine, intern at a college office

Community service: Over 800 hours (as of junior year, lololz)

I take full I.B. :)

I’m allowed to meet real authors from all over the world because of the work I do.

That’s the story of my life, minus a bunch of other writing accomplishments, published works blah, blah, blah. lolz

oh, and I plan on playing Quidditch like a pro this year.
Get.At.Me.
:D

haha, glad to see there are others like me

i’m 3.6 UW, 4.1 W 2000 SAT , one sport, 3 clubs, two leadership positions, 50 hours community service, a few other simple EC’s

¯_(ツ)_/¯

<.<
Lucky.

I dream of 2000 SAT scores. Once upon a time I had a 3.9…what happened to those glory days?

This site stresses me out a lot, too. It’s just so helpful and informative. I’m taking one AP class and three honors classes. I’m a sophomore. October 15th I take the PSAT.

So far I’m in one club (that takes up about ten hours a week of my time) – it’s drama, and we have after school rehearsals almost every single day. I also have a part time job (between 8 and 15 hours a week).

I’m joining the environmental club at school and want to do environment related volunteering. Soon I will volunteer at a music venue/art gallery and join the poetry club when they start holding meetings. That’s really it as far as ECs go. I am looking for an out of school theatre program, and might end up joining the school’s art/creative writing club. So that would be three clubs, a job, and two outside volunteering activities. Yet I don’t know how I’m supposed to do all of this and keep my grades up. They’re already slipping because my work ethic sucks. I probably will only end up being able to do drama, one other club and one other thing outside of school, next to my job.

As far as my school goes, people look at my like I’m a genius. But our school doesn’t achieve at all. On CC I just feel dumb and behind, especially because I’m struggling so much with AP Physics (I have a C right now) and some people breeze through it.

looks like CCers dont even know what “Average” means -.-
i cant believe a 2000 SAT would be considered AVERAGE
i have a 4.0 WEIGHTED w/2 APs ( 2 b’s)
and a 1750 on SAT…
and now that s what we call AVERAGE
