Hello guys, I'm looking for a school with a business major in the New England region.

Here are my stats: 89.35 GPA, 2070 SAT (690/750/630 taking once more) SAT II: USH 690, retaking MATH 2

I go to one of the "specialized" high schools in NYC which is pretty competitive. Junior year I took APUSH, AP PSYCH, Honors Physics. This year I'm taking AP Latin, AP Macroeco, AP Calc AB, Honors Writing.

EC's: nothing special, one sports team, around 100 volunteer hours, some awards from the National Latin Exam (not sure if they hold any weight in college apps).

Recs: 2 decent recs.

So far I'm considering Bing, Northeastern U, Macaulay Honors @ Baruch. What other schools should I consider. I would like a school in a more urban area, but that is not necessary.

Would it be better for me to stay in NYC at CUNY for the cost and internship
opportunitiess?

Also if you don't mind could you chance me at the schools I listed? Thanks :)

Would you consider Economics w/ a math or entrepreneurship minor, instead of Business? This may open up more choices for you.
In addition, at many “regular” schools (not Wharton or Stern) the business major isn’t all that rigorous. If you attend a specialized high school you might not be challenged with a regular business major (check to see if there’s Business Honors or just a college-wide Honors College/program, and what it entails).
If you can get into Macaulay, it’d definitely be a good deal for you. Since your GPA is deflated due to your school, you’d have a shot although for Baruch SAT 2100+ is recommended.
Of course you can look at Babson and Bryant, which would probably be safeties for you.

MYOS, that sounds like a great idea actually. Econ skills seem to be more versatile than business. Which schools would you recommend for me? In terms of how much my family can afford, my parents gave me a blank check in essence. However I would like to choose something that’ll give me the most bang for my buck in a sense.
