I am a freshman college student studying in a community college here in California. I am going to major in computer science. Well, what if I only have about 3.2 GPA, and no extracurriculars. Is their even a possibility that I could transfer to any of the state universities?

are yo usure berkeley would accept someone with a 3.2 and no extracurriculars....maybe if the op is applying to the natural sciences or which ever department it was that accepts over 50%

are you guys serious?
I actually have a chance to even transfer to UC?
OMG! USC is included, right? hhahahah..kidding.

Let me make this clear. 3.2 GPA, no EC at the end of sophomore, meaning the time when I am about to transfer.

Ofcourse, I will try to get some EC's, but I was just wondering what if I don't have any. What do you mean all UC's? Why do you guys say that? Is it because of my major?

so, how much difference is there between ucla/ucb and other uc's in terms of difficulty of getting in? is transferring somewhat a simiar process with freshmen transferring? i mean, when ur applying for freshmen year, ucla/ucb is way too competitive while the other uc's are easy to get into as long as ur not a total blockhead.

Oh, Because I really thought I need to be a super kid in order to get into UC's. See, reading all those chances threads made me think I am a loser.

Glad to know, I do have a bit of chance even with my below average stat.
Thanks guys!
