I am applying to a couple of accelerated medical programs, and they mostly require an MCAT score of 27, granted u get in. Is it difficult to get a 27? Is a 27 below the national average, or higher?

27 is a very low expectation. It's a couple of points higher than the national average and lower than the average for accepted medical school applicants.

People often shoot for 30.
