<p>At my school, somewhere between 0 and 1.</p>

<p>At my school, you can only take one AP class. However, most sophmores don't.</p>

<p>at my school only APUSH (1st year, we split it into 2 yrs) is offered sophmore year and that's only for about 10-12 people, so most take 0</p>

<p>All these are available to sophmores. I know people that have taken 2 or 3. Most people only take 1-2; our school is accelerated to the max (not exactly a good thing for the people that aren't superhumans)</p>

<p>at my school, sophomores are not allowed to take any, juniors are only allowed to take ap stat if they took precalc in 10th grade, and seniors end up taking only up to 4 or 5.</p>

<p>There aren't many options for sophs at my school...the most common would be AP Physics. But AP Music Theory and AP Computer Science AB are conceivable.</p>

<p>Sophs can only take AP World History or AP Euro. I think we had one sophomore taking AP Music Theory, but that was because he did a special one-on-one study with one of the music teachers. You end up with about 30-40 people taking an AP as a sophomore, but many of them don't try that hard and don't do that well (There were a bunch of 2s in my AP World class simply because some people just didn't care.)</p>

<p>Usually APs are not available for Soph, but some people (bunch, 10-12) are taking 2-3 APs (block schedule).</p>
