other than NYU b school (which costs $72,000 w/r&b a joke!) TCNJ is by far the next best B school on your list and reasonable priced! If you’re going for finance you should apply as a finance major, its a great program , lots of internships etx and track record of jobs and grad schools.
@reformedman I am applying for honors college already- I will send out my application today hopefully.
@MYOS1634 I guess I will have to push my parents to file.
@stones3 Exactly! NYU is very pricey, but we are just applying to see whether I get in. I won’t apply for Stern since it’s quite competitive and more unlikely chance of getting in. And I am probably going to apply to TCNJ as a finance major.
After all, I can change my major if I do end up changing my mind once I’m admitted, right?
actually, it takes a little effort to change majors at TCNJ as the top majors like Finance are fairly competitive, the school makes changing majors a bit of a project. However, it is doable but not a guarantee. Good luck. Also , Stern school is very good but more so for grad program MBA.
I felt like sharing since I got my admissions for all Rutgers schools.
New Brunswick School of Arts & Sciences: Admitted
Camden School of Bussiness: Admitted
Newark School of Bussiness: Admitted
Congratulations! I’d go with New Brunswick if it comes to choosing between these three.
Are you waiting for more decisions or working on more applications?
@MYOS1634 From the three, it’ll depend really on where I get accepted…but I am leaning towards New Brunswick. Also, yes, I am waiting on a lot more decisions and I have a few more apps to send in.
Some more updates.
I got some scholarship from School of Business in Rutgers Camden and admitted to that school’s Honors College. New Brunswick and Newark have yet to give more info.
I got admitted to Fairleigh Dickinson with almost full tuition scholarship. Tuition comes down to around 5k, which was something my parents and I weren’t exactly expecting.
I was also admitted to Kean…but there’s been a bit of a hassle and some weird things going on. An admissions counselor told me one thing, but something else happened in regards to scholarship. If anyone is willing to talk about it in PM, that would be great.
FULL Update on Admission Results:
I’m thinking of only in-state schools at the moment. I don’t think I want to venture too far away from home actually, but I do not want to be too close to home (aka staying at home because it’s super close. TCNJ is very close to my house and I could stay at home while attending).

Is UMass Amherst affordable? That’s a terrific offer!
@MYOS1634 I can afford to go pretty much anywhere, but I’ve pretty much determined where I think I should go. NJIT has what I want and I’m pretty confident that I’ll put in the enrollment deposit very soon. They gave me an additional $2,000 in scholarship so that’s a plus. And I visited just this past weekend…and it’s not what I had expected at all. The campus is pretty self-contained so it’ll be fine if I do go there. They have strength in connections and developing opportunities…some stuff I don’t think I can talk about yet because it doesn’t look like it was made really public. I only know because I was speaking to some people who are in charge of it. But, I’m excited to go there!
Congrats!! Aside from your waitlist choices, U of MD is the best, especially for comp sci.
of your list Dickinson and TCNJ are your clear standouts.
