Average overseases Pakistani student and Texan Universities

Hi,
So I’ve been living in Saudi Arabia since 2007. I’ve completed my high school education here. Overall, it’s been pretty bad. This is what I have as of now:

  1. IGCSE Olevels with 1A*, 3A, 4B, 1C
  2. 4 year GPA’s that are >3.5/4
  3. GCE AS LEVEL with C (Maths), D (Physics)
  4. SAT 1 with 1110/1600 (IM PRETTY BAD AT MATHS)
  5. Retaking AS LEVELS WITH A2 coming May/June

Honestly, I don’t know what to do. Exams cause me panic and I can’t sleep. I gave my SAT exams after 18 hours of no sleep at all. Couldn’t think straight during the exam.

I know getting full rides or amazing scholarships is out of the question. So I got to know about the Texan universities. It’s stated that if you get a scholarship of $1000, your out of state tuition is waived. I want to pursue a major in computer engineering. I have applied to Texas Tech and University Of Texas at Dallas for Fall 2018. Is there any chance I can be awarded with that $1000? so the tuition becomes affordable for me.

The Scholarships can vary by institution and are competitive, meaning, you compete with US residents for the scholarships. Each university seems to be able to set their price. For A&M, it is $4000 in competitive scholarships and all scholarships do not count or stack.
If you are bad at math, Engineering may not be the field for you. It is math heavy. Engineering departments look at your math readiness for the major.

Hi!
I think I might have exaggerated there a bit. I am bad at maths but not to an extent that I need to drop my major.
Anyhow, thanks for the input!
