Average Pay for Federal Work-Study Students at UC's

Hey I'm just wondering if anyone on here for Federal Work-Study and what their pay is/was at a UC?

Also do you get a pay bump (even if it's just $0.50-$1) if you have an AA?

Bump bump bump

Yeah interested too, especially for UCLA. Do they offer higher more technical jobs? Like a technician or in the IT department that will pay more? Tried looking but cant log in to search for jobs since I don’t have a UCLA user name and password. Any input would be appreciated! Even if its for other UCs. Thanks!

Bump bump bump …Happy New Year!!!

I have a work study award at UC Irvine and didn’t find much difference. In fact it seemed as though work study jobs paid less, on average, then non work study jobs. But I find it doesn’t really matter in the long run. Most are $8.50 hourly. I have a $1500 award for the year. Also, most of the jobs, including the one I have now, require a one year commitment. If I was to work more, or earn a higher wage in the fall, the come spring I could be out of work study money.

@SoCal79 - That’s weird because I have Work Study at my CCC and was awarded 7k in work study and starting pay for working in the Library is $9.00.

Maybe it varies by campus…do you mind if I ask what you do for work study and if you have an AA?
