Average Stats for M&T Students

Hi,

Does anyone know how many students apply to M&T ED and how many are admitted? Also, what are their average stats (GPA/SAT/SATII)??

Nobody knows. M&T focuses heavily on extracurriculars and the essay, however.

@“Keasbey Nights” Why don’t they publish stats… their ambiguity and mysteriousness scares me.

Well, I believe that the average unweighted high school gpa is about 3.90 . The average SAT score is about 2,200. However, there are many candidates who are significantly above that and are rejected. Also, about 20% are nursing students and I have been told that the average nursing students grades and scores are slightly lower.

Basically, you would want to be above the average student to improve your odds, but anyone can be rejected, so you just won’t know until you get the letter.
