Average student ALERT

Can you please tell me my chances at: University of Michigan, University of Maryland College Park, University of southern California and Brandies? Only these, please don’t suggest others. I have already found safety so don’t worry.

Stats: GPA something like 4.5/4.0 Weighted
ACT 24 with an eight on the essay –bad I know- I’m a bad standardized test taker

High school classes are honors and one AP. school only lets take 2 AP’s junior and senior year. So still have a moderately hard curse load. Would have taken AP USH but took Honors physics instead. (Interested me more)

Extracurricular: not much, but at my school it’s real hard to have a-lot. Go to school until 9 at night. I have Judaic studies I the morning and English classes in the afternoon.

Also, I plan to try to retake the act hoping for a 26. I am taking it Dec 10 it should reach all the schools I listed above, Right?

Assuming I have great essays and recs do I stand a shot at getting into any of the colleges mentioned above? On a side note, I know someone from my school with a 25 on the ACT who got into college park so I think I stand some chance.

Illinois, not going to help chances.

bump bump bump

Average people don't get get straight A's

8888888

I am an average person who studies a ton. Even though i get good grades, i have a terrible act. So you see i am just average.

Schools always say that the grades are more important than the test scores, and always insist that there is no minimum test score. So, I would say that you have a chance at all of them, with U Michigan being the hardest to get into.

What do you go to a Yeshiva?
