Average wait for decision?

Well I guess it is just luck then.

Turns out that even though I got my email on the 8th, in their system, I wasn’t accepted until the 11th so the very nice lady said by the end of this week.

@niqniq935, not sure if the “very nice lady” remark was sarcasm, but either way, at least you now know (or at least were told) you’re getting it soon! Good luck on your scholarship!

Nah, she was actually nice haha and thanks!

I submit my application around October 20th (but the deadline was November 1st) and heard back through the portal on November 9th and received my snail mail (with scholarship info) a week later.

Still no letter. Temple said they sent it out weeks ago but there’s nothing at my house. Now they’re trying to either get me a new one or find out if they can email it.

I’m sorry :(

I applied December 1st. Application is complete, currently awaiting a decision.

Hey all. I applied via common app on Nov 1 and received an acceptance email on Nov 17. I still haven’t received a letter yet :frowning: should I contact admissions or wait it out a little longer?

So applied via common app on October 28,and his test scores took much longer than anticipated to arrive at Temple (I was told Temple does things different than most schools and receives them via disc, which is sent out twice a month). when the scores finally arrived, his application status was changed from “incomplete” to “complete” and exactly two weeks later received an email from admissions with “Congratulations!” in subject line. This email by the way was in the spam folder,so make sure you check often! Just for those interested in stats, he has a 3.3 gpa, OOS (CT), 24 act, lots of activities, excellent essay and recommendations.Applied to school of business (insurance).Good luck to all that are applying!

u should. reg mail should arrives 7-14 days. and urs is over that.

Hi guys, I applied to temple Oct. 30th and still haven’t heard anything from them. My stats seem to match up and I figured temple would be an easy acceptance for me but now I am not so sure. I applied without my SAT scores so I had to complete the Temple Option essay questions, does anyone know if choosing Temple Option will delay your acceptance? Thanks!

i applied on oct 26th, i thought it would easy acceptance too, but apparently not. i did temple option too. i m going in for nursing. what about u? and ur stats.

@laurrodes‌ It will a bit because they have to read your answers and then score them.

Hi again! Just checked my online status this afternoon and I have been accepted! Waiting on my letter now

@laurrodes, Congrats!!! Was Temple a high choice for you on your list?

@jamesjunkers it’s for sure in my top 5! I applied to 11 schools so I’m waiting to hear back from them all before making any decisions
