Average weight gained in Freshmen year

honestly, I think it’ll prob be the reverse for me

because when you’re at home, your mommy can force you to eat your food

but when you’re at college, you can be stressed out or distracted or busy and forget/neglect having good eating habits

thanks, I will definitely look in to that as an elective! I love learning about nutrition…if I could actually suffer through chem/bio, I would be a nutrition major. sigh

@hcvops : I suggest you see a doctor about that. Thats basically the definition of “eating disorder”. Nothing to worry about though. I was lurking around when I found this thread.

I was referring to your older post. About eating infront of peopl

I lost 15 pounds.
To each their own, I guess.

Lobzz, what exactly constitutes an ED??

I eat sensibly; just not generally in front of others

freshman 15= beer.

you’d think kids in ivy leagues would be able to figure out what’s healthy and what’s not…

my freshman year? lost weight… but thats the beauty of county college and living at home :]

i lost a lot of weight in the beginning of freshman year because of all the walking. i still ate the pizza and ice cream and stuff, but it was the change from driving to get everywhere at home to walking to get everywhere here. as long as you dont engorge yourself in 10 plates of french fries with every meal you should be fine

well then. You probably dont have an eating disorder YET. I think you should google it. But I remember reading that people with Eds dont like eating around people. Google it, im sure online medical care would be of better use to you. Good luck. Nothing to be afraid of though.
