Don't worry! I am not shouting at you.
I am just emphasizing the fact that you need to read to improve your score.
Read magazines and newspaper articles.
Look up any new vocabulary word you see in the dictionary.

"the norton reader" and "the economist" .. great reads. strong recommendation for the extremely desperate!

Do practice passages to give yourself a feeling for the how to tackle the passages.

i recommend tooth and nail: a novel approach to the new sat.

i think it is most helpful when u are short on time and have problems with remembering word lists. okay plot. it has lots of high frequency sat words.

from the novel: "It offers you a way to build your vocabulary, improve your reading comprehensions skills, and enjoy a good story all at the same time."

I borrowed that book and found it to be very boring as all SAT novels. If, however, you don't mind reading boring chapters until story gets good, I suggest Ring of McCalister by Kaplan. The book is nice although Kaplan usually makes poor problems.
