hey according to this site Profile of Admitted Transfer Students by Major, Fall 2009 - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions

everybody has about 100+ units. Are they talking quarter units or semester units? How come they have so much if its semester units. How do they complete so much in 2 years?

They are on the quarter system. 60 semester units = 90 quarter units. I have like 105. Need 180 quarter units to graduate.

Courses taken during high school

Overloading during college

i’ll have over 100 semester units

Yeah I’ll have almost 100 semester units when I transfer, which is almost 150 quarter units. They’re only going to allow 70/105 semester/quarter units transfer.
It’s not a huge deal to me, a bunch of those classes were remedial math classes.

hi, im new to this, lol, and very happy with the admission as well.
My CC has a semester sys, so i got roughly about 92 units prior to transfer, not sure how many is that in quarter units.
How many of you guys out there admitted for Busi. Econ major like me? just wondering… So excited!

Yeah, pretty sure that’s in quarter units. I’d be transferring with 72 semester units which I think translates to 108 quarter units.

I’ll only have 94 quarter units when I transfer…

I’ll only have 90 quarter units/60 semester units. So no need to sweat over this.
