Aviation

Anyone know anything about Aviation careers and/or schools?

All I know is that my friends who want to go into aviation are either at the air force academy or at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. www.erau.edu if you want to check it out.

i know everything

k maybe not everything but i am sure i can answer all of your questions.. post in the engineering major area under the same title and write down all the questions.

I know about Embry-Riddle. How was your friends high school transcript like when he got into Embry-Riddle?

Florida Tech has an aviation program (www.fit.edu/AcadRes/aero/)

How was your friends high school transcript like when he got into Embry-Riddle?

heh thats a good question - I can't really answer that for you... sorry.
It wasn't stellar, but certainly not terrible either. From what I remember: 4.1 w, a few APs, track and field, ROTC, about 1250 SAT, not sure about SAT IIs...

I am a sophmore in high school, 3.3 gpa, varsity wrestler, part time job, and i plan on taking the ACT in april. What do you think I should do to increase my chances of getting into Embry-Riddle(if i have a chance at all)?

University of North Dakota has an outstanding Aviation program from what I've heard.
