Anyone else avoiding CC (or just this section of CC) until SAT scores come out? I know I am going to...since I really don't want to see the threads about the SAT and see which questions I got wrong. No stress about how I did...whatever happens, happens.

cannednish, I probably should have. The more I read the Official Discussion, the more depressed I get. I know I got at least three questions wrong so far (2 CR, 1 M) ... Ughhhh. So depressing.

And because I'm a perfectionist, it's hard to convince myself not to cancel the scores.

That's what I was planning on doing. But judging from the thread i got all of the hard ones right. Hopefully i didn't mess up on the easy ones. It gives me confidence, so that would be bad if my score actually blows

I was hoping we'd get our scores back sooner, too. Where is everyone hearing that we'll get them the 11th? I couldn't find any place on collegeboard that said exactly when they would be released, although I personally expect them to take longer than the usual 2/3 weeks.

i think they just put the extra days as a safety blanket beacuse a lot more people took the test. There's prolay a good chance we'll get it before.

It's because it will take more time to "grade" the essay. Two people have to read it and assign a 1-6 value. Where before, the SAT was totally machine graded. Since they have published when it will be released, I highly doubt it will be released before that date.

I would just avoid the sat/act boards. It started to depress me after I took the psat. I plan on doing the same for the may sat, june bio and math2c sat2, april ACT and oct. spanish sat2
