Avoiding silly math mistakes

This may seem like a silly question in it of itself but seriously how does one avoid them? I know that you need to practice, practice, practice but I've been doing that yet still manage to get like 3 mistakes even though I know all the concepts of course. If someone points out that i made a mistake, I figure it out instantaneously. Sometimes it's misreading the question or not paying enough attention to a tiny detail on a graph or something. A lot of the time it's the easy ones I get wrong. Anyway, how can I improve in 1 month? (Besides practicing)???

thanks

check over your work.

on the march sat i think i made at least one careless error that was taken care of from checking my work. also, a bubbling error was taken care of too by that

however i still managed to make a careless error in math, but eh, better 770 than 750 or whatever
