<p>I know earning awards looks great on college apps and see many users on here talking about the ones the have. However, I'm not even entirely sure how one earns these. I know about the NHS Scholarship Award and the Presidental Education, however, I'm totally out of the know about other awards/ competitions I should be applying for. I'm in the top of my class and earn very good grades, so there must be some competition I can participate in right? Anyone have any good links for this kind of thing? I'm totally clueless. <p>If you’re into art, try the Scholastic Art Awards, they’re pretty awesome. Or if you’re like me and consistently miss the deadline try googling local art competitions / contests. This goes for math / science / essay competitions as well. Google can be a wonderful asset haha</p>
