I was just wondering what would happen to any awards that someone would win after their application has been sent already…Like if someone was an Intel Semi-Finalist or won some national essay competition?

<p>Keep a list just in case you end up on a waiting list somewhere--otherwise, the awards are just for you.</p>
<p>Intel and Westinghouse results come out way before decisions are made. Mail your colleges an update letter as soon as you are named, and it will GREATLY improve your chances of getting in.</p>
