**I know there is definitely a thread on something like this, but I've been searching around and can't really find what I'm looking for.

Okay so I know about the presidential service award and all, but I was wondering if there was anything similar to it. By the end of the summer I will have already wracked up 200 hours and am plan on reaching at least 250 by the end of 2013. I volunteer with a nonprofit that gives books to underprivileged children (thats where almost all the hours from the summer came from, and will be a few during the school year too), and also at a local assistance agency that helps families who are in need (by giving them clothes or helping them with bills) every week and tutor from time to time in math. I might start being a mentor during the school year if I can find a good program and I am the president of a service club (which has a some pretty big goals this year and is planning to be very active). I do these things because I am really passionate about them, I love doing it, but I also want to take other opportunities available such as the Presidential service award. If you guys know about any other similar programs please share! Besides volunteering I babysit, am a very active member of Student council, run in xc, I am a freshmen mentor at my school and am very involved academically.

Oh! I am in NC, so I if its not a national program/award it must be for NC.

thanks in advance guys! (PS im a rising junior)
