<p>On college applications and resumes, how and where should I put in awards that I have earned in my high school years? I'm asking this because they're not any school related rewards. I have several awards from martial arts competitions and musical competitions but I was wondering if those kind of things could be put on college applications? Or are they looking for big and well known honors and awards? </p>

<p>Also, since I have several of them (collected throughout 3 years), should I pick the ones most important to me and just list one or two?</p>

<p>Absolutely list your awards. Your martial arts would also be considered an extra curricular. You can put them under general awards or you could put it in the space on most applications for additional information. These activities will also give you topics for your essays, and if you think it would be useful, you can send a resume with your applications that can better explain your ECs. Good luck.</p>
