<p>I an a junior in need of some national awards/state awards…Does anyone know of any that I can apply to? I dont know of any.</p>
<p>umm....it depends what area you're into/best at.</p>
<p>if you're into writing and stuff, there are always writing contests going on. for example, i've won a few awards for the Scholastic Writing Competition (which is local, state, and national). try asking your english teacher.</p>
<p>if you're a science person, schools usually have science olympiads or other such competitions. you can probably ask a teacher or guidance counselor about that too.</p>
<p>as for non-subject awards, if you did well on your psat test, you could be eligible for national merit awards....but you probably would have found out about that already.</p>
