<p>So I didn't complete one of the things for the writing requirement for CAL, and I didn't pass my AP English Literature and Composition test. Is there anyway I can still take that AWPE test so I don't need to take the lower level english test?</p>

<p>If students have been admitted to UC Berkeley but have not yet fulfilled the University of California Entry Level Writing Requirement or taken the Analytical Writing Placement Examination, then they should take the exam their first semester at Berkeley. </p>
<p>In fall 2008, the Berkeley campus Analytical Writing Placement Examination will be given on the following date: </p>
<p>Saturday, September 13, 2008, 9:00-11:00, in 155 Dwinelle Hall
Results from the exam are usually available two or three weeks after the exam date.</p>
