Just know that its harder to actually enroll in 30 or 31 bc they have less classes available than 39C. So what I recommend is check webreg everyday or even every hour after your enrollment window, if you have time, and see if someone dropped it. The waitlists only go up to 3, so you have a great shot at getting into the class if you get on the waitlist early on.

This is something recommended for everyone that is trying to add a class that is full… just check webreg every couple hours and someone is bound to drop a spot.

you probably will not be able to get into writing 31 right after you finish 39b. i wasn’t able to enroll until winter of my sophomore year, even though i did 39b in freshman fall. the classes are really popular and you need to have a very early enrollment window to stand a chance. it’s worth the wait though, i really enjoyed writing 31 :)

Hi. So…on the UCI website it said I could be cleared from the Analytical Writing exam if I send my AP scores by April 1. I got a 3 on the English Language and Composition exam junior year, but I haven’t sent them to UCI yet (I wanted to send my junior and senior AP scores all at one time). I was wondering if I can still be cleared of the requirement even if I send my English AP score late. At this point, myadmissions says, “you have not satisfied the Entry Language Writing Requirement. Please consult with your academic advisor.” I’m not sure if it says that because they haven’t received my AP scores yet or because they won’t accept my late score.
