aww, man, I thought my SAT II scores were "good"

I was so ecstatic when I saw that I got a 700 in USH and a 680 in Lit, but checking the percentiles, while I'm still happy, it's not as "elite" as I thought. Are colleges still impressed when scores are toward the 700 range?

they're not terrible............

I have similar scores (670-bio m, 690-world and 720-chem, taking more this year) than you! but yeah, they're pretty good. You have to realize: very, very few people take SAT II's compared to SATs-so it's already pre-selected (my school, for example, only tells honors/AP kids about SAT II's, so it's only about the top 10% taking it) good students...plus, people can retake like CRAZY and also only take their best two subjects. anything below 400-terrible, below 500-bad, below 600-average, ehhhh, above 650 is fine, above 700 good, above 750 great,

it really depends on where you are applying to.....the more elite colleges will have higher expectations in terms of SAT results.
