I applied for the AXA Achievement Scholarship, and I haven't heard anything. 1 - Does anyone know if they even acknowledge if they are considering your application (they said they only take the first 15,000). And 2 - Does anyone know when we will be notified?

I would also like to know the answer to your two questions.

I, too, would love to know the answer to those questions.
Also, I don’t exactly have an AXA branch in my state, but there is one like 5 hours away. Can I not win because there isn’t a branch in my state?

Throw me in with the group that would like to know the answers to those questions. Not that I have a shot anyway, but it’d be nice to know for both this and the AXA Community one. It only says “spring 2010.”
Smilingismyfav3 - I’m pretty sure you can still win the national one, as it’s given to somebody in every state. For the community one, it’ll prompt you to enter your state/maybe area code, can’t remember. That’ll tell you if you’re eligible, but my nearest one is really far away, and it still said I qualified.

Oh, Ok thanks, 10scholar!
are AXA Achievement and AXA Comm. both for h.s. seniors?

^I know they’re for high school seniors, but they may be open to other ages as well, idk if they’re exclusionary

i did the community service one and when i emailed them i didnt get an answer back

I’m starting to work on this application now, but probably won’t have it mailed until the 13th. Is anyone else doing it this late? I’m worried that my application won’t even be considered since only the first 12,000 are, so if anyone has the number of applicants for the last round, let me know. :)

I don’t know if anyone else applied for the Achievement, not the community, one, but if you did you’ve probably heard by now. I got a letter dated March 1 saying I didn’t receive it. Good luck to all…

My son received a letter a week ago that he was awarded $10,000.

Congratulations to your son! That’s quite impressive!

I heard back as well! I received 10,000. I’m really excited. This is definitely helping my family out a lot.

Wow, congrats to both of you, you must have exceptional achievements!

Thank ya. I guess they felt that way. I almost didn’t apply (but I’m glad I did).

Congratulations to the winners. Was it for the Achievement or the Community service one?

This was the Achievement. The community one will announce in mid-April I believe

Thank you. Congratulations again.

Did anyone apply for the 2011 AXA Achievement Scholarship? When will the applicants be notified whether they get it or not?

They said applicants will be notified in Mid-March. Good luck!
