I just “finalized” my senior schedule (meaning that I will be back periodically to change it seven more times haha) and am wondering two things:
How hard is AP Euro? I've heard "It's the best class ever!" and "That class murdered my soul" so idk what to believe
I was going to take AP Stats but I just heard from a friend that it's deceptively easy the first two months and then it's impossible (case in point: on the last test the highest grade was a B and the majority of students failed. He said you basically teach yourself, which is probably because of the teacher--I've had her before and she sucks).
AP Environmental science online???
Our school doesn't offer it, but it looks a lot easier than AP Chem (never in a million years will I take that class omg) and more interesting than AP Microeconomics. Anyone done it online?
I need to get off CC haha I’m starting to freak out…but any responses would be more than appreciated!
AP difficulty depends on the school, but I know my school allows sophomores to take AP Euro. My friend does, but when I asked her if I should take it next year she said no. She’s more of a science/math person though, so take that as you will. It certainly seems better than AP Stats in your circumstance.
Let me know if you find something for microeconomics. I plan to self-study it next year because I really want to get the other credit because my school only offers macro.
I took AP Euro as a sophomore, and I loved it! The class was hard, and I had to put a lot of effort into it to maintain an A- both semesters, but the curriculum was so interesting, and I loved the teacher. You will get the best perspective from other students at your school who took the course, as they understand how the class and teachers work at your school.
I took AP Euro as a freshman and although it was a hard class, it was geared as a hard freshman class at my school. I got As both semesters and a 4 on the AP test. Also, I do not like history that much.
I have heard AP Environmental is the easiest AP, yet interesting. To be honest, AP Euro is kind of both of those statements. Almost everybody I have talked to about the class says it was super interesting (especially if you are interested in science) but also very hard.
