<p>Would it be better to study/memorize roots or words? FWIW, the last SAT I took I scored a 650 on CR with zero prep. I wasn't as fortunate in the writing department, lol.</p>

<p>writing: go over the grammar rules, which should be found in your test prep book. just by doing some medium intense studying for a couple days, I shot my writing score up by more than 100 points 570 - around 700’s consistant</p>
