B.A. or B.S. ?

Hi, everyone)))
I was completing my online app, particularly planned course of study, and found out that for the same course (psychology) 2 courses for undergrads are offered: B.A. and B.S.? what's the difference?

Different colleges have different differences. Check both major’s websites to see if there are other details. If I had to guess, the Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) is generally aimed at research, and the B.S. (Bachelor of Science) is more aimed at the practice. But I’m sure each include both. In short, there are differences, but they are probably more alike then they are different.

But again, check the school’s website. If there is info there, email the department chair for psychology.

At the college I attended, the BS required more credits of science classes and the BA more credits of humanities classes. It didn’t really matter which degree you got. The college my son attended, everyone got a BA, regardless of major. Grad schools and employers will not care what your degree is, just what classes you take.
