<p>Generally the geneds required. But check with your school because it really varies. Some schools make the BS significantly more challenging, some make it pretty much an extra science course and no language requirement.</p>

<p>At my school, the BA requires a foreign language, while the BS requires two more math/science courses in addition to the general ed. requirements.</p>

<p>At UMass, the BA requires 15 foreign language credits and the BS requires 60 credits of math/science and psychology. The BS also has a neuroscience track with further requirements (including lots of biology).</p>
