I went B A B this semester, and since it's an AP class, our final exam grade was a project in which we had to make a video. My group and I spent a lot of time putting everything together and making sure it matched up to the requirements. I got my report card today and my teacher gave us a B for the project, leaving me with an undeserved B for the class. I'm completely at a loss....I should have gotten 5 final As :(.

Since the grade wasn't for a test, but my teachers opinion, is there anyway I could talk to him and convince him to change it?
I got an A last semester, will that affect how colleges view my progress in that class?

^too bad colleges don’t care about your AP exam score.

But to the OP, I would only bother if your teacher is an understanding person because it’s the end of the year, and grades are probably finalized. It would be a pain for him to go back and request a change. But hey it doesn’t hurt to try.

Honestly, this will probably kill your chances at HYPS, hope you weren’t planning on applying there. There are so many kids applying with 4.0 that a “B” is a blemish your resume can’t stand.
