I was wondering if colleges consider B's in AP classes still good? It is equivalent to a A in a regular class and I heard that colleges want to see you taking rigorous courses.... Also, if you get an A in Honors classes then your weighted GPA gets a little extra boost... If you get a B, then it can drop your unweighted GPA...

Most colleges like to see that 1.) you don’t slack off 2.) in your school, your classes are rigorous, respectively and 3.) your GPA stays constant (if high) or improves. Also, I’m pretty sure colleges look at unweighted GPAs. That said, an AP class, depending on your school, is usually harder than an honors or enriched class. Colleges would rather see you in the harder classes, assuming you can pass with a decent grade of course

A in AP class
