<p>im a freshman right now and im taking AP comp sci. i have a B- first quarter. i hope to be able to go to Yale or Harvard or some other Ivy in the future. Am i screwed for gettin a B-??? will this totally stop me from going to harvard or yale?? freshman grades at my school are not averaged into GPA</p>

<p>Good god man, you have a B minus for a quarter and those are the schools you are looking at? At this point, you've botched your high school career enough that unless you have got some really stellar recs lined up (from the likes of Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy, etc) i would really consider looking at a community college or vocational school.</p>
