B in Band

<p>If I get a B in band as a sophomore (I'm dropping band next year), will that hurt me for college applications because it's not a "hard" class?</p>

<p>The first 4 posters were being sarcastic. An0maly is right – it shouldn’t affect you much. When the top schools look at your grades, they focus mainly on your grades in “core classes” – English, math, science, history, and foreign language.</p>
