B- in elective HELP!!!

Hey everyone,
This quarter, I took intro to dance as an elective but on my ucla provisional contract it said to do better than a B on all my classes. I received A's in my other two classes, which were more difficult and I have NO IDEA why I received a B MINUS in the class. I am hoping it is either a mistake or because she really does not like how opinionated I am. If my TA does not change the grade, how will this mess me up?
and how do I explain to them that I really do not know why I got that grade, because I really do not.

anyone?
i dont know if I should just ignore it, or I should wait to get a reply from the TA, or just contact the admissions office right away…

I don’t think they would ask you to have straight As for the last semester, I think it’d be B or better, no lower than B, then you are perfectly safe.

<<< see username.

I was supposed to receive only solid B’s in my classes, and in the elective, I received a B-…
but I truly think it is a misunderstand… I mean it’s DANCE, but I still broke the contract, even if not intentional.

Does your community college calculate your GPA differently based on +/- designation?

If you receive a grade point of 3.0 for B, B+ and B- grades, then you are ok because you get an UC-equivalent of a B grade regardless of the +/- designation. On the other hand, if you receive a 3.3 for B+, 3.0 for B, and 2.7 for B-, then you may be in trouble.
