B in gym??? wthhh

this may sound retarded but how would colleges look at a B in gym?? (since when was driver's ed a real course?)

its not fair especially when i get the teacher who actually thinks its a course and other kids get teachers who give every1 a 95 or higher.

please help me out

doesn't matter at all for a gpa calculated by a college

I doubt colleges will care too much.

problem is that gym is a 4 credit course (miss 1 day a week for lab), so a 3 will crash my gpa.

it will probably bring me down alot so will college just judge me by my listed gpa, or make their own gpa based off my academic classes?

all the colleges i applied to calculated their own gpa. they take a given number of your non core classes, and if you have more than required(it's a very low number), they take your best grades for calculating gpa

would elite colleges do the same thing? especially with a boatload of applicants, would they care enough to actually look?

sryy... just being paranoid....

In my school, your gym/health grade isn't factored into your GPA. It doesn't even affect whether you make High Honor Roll or not (I got a B, too)

they didn't with me, so...

Colleges don't even look at gym.. they only look at your academics

Its okay. I got a (my only) C in gym and I started bawling my eyes out. I have never been that devestated before in my life.

They don't even care about ANY KIND OF PE MARKS unless it's the advanced elective course.

i doubt a B in PE will stop you from gettin into an elite college. but it could lower your rank, if your school factors in PE (but i doubt it will).
