B in Precalc for engineer-Freshmen

Hey there,
I got a B in precalc this year as a freshmen (only first semester, hopefully second will be an A) which isn't a big deal overall as this is my freshmen year of hs. The problem is that I am planning to major in engineering (computer or electrical) which requires both science and math skills.

Will the B have an impact on my chances for MIT, Cal, Stanford?

Thanks

Well it’s impressive you are taking that as a freshman just make sure you gets As in calc and/or stat when you take them

It is not ideal for schools like MIT, but you should be okay since you are in pre-calc as a freshman. Like OP said, try and get an A from now on, but that B should not be a reason for you to get rejected if it is your only math B.
