Which of these minors would be the best? I'm thinking that the mathematics minor would be the best, and would be more helpful if I go for a Masters.

That question is really impossible to answer. We need more information. No answer would be meaningful unless it was given after taking the following information into account:

What courses are involved in each?

Which is harder / more prestigious at your school?

What background do you have in each?

What do you see yourself doing on the job?

What kinds of research are you interested in?

A long list of questions in addition to these would be helpful to answer as well. Use your imagination.

In general, broad strokes, I would say that you should go with Mathematics, since it is really a superset of Statistics, and in theory, you should be able to get some Statistics in a Mathematics minor (I’d imagine). Generally speaking, I feel like Mathematics is the safer general-purpose bet, but again, it really depends on what you want to end up doing.

Well for the CS degree I have to take these math classes:

Calculus I — got an A

Calculus II — got a B+

Introduction to Discrete Mathematics — got an A

Linear Algebra

For the math minor I need to take 12 more credit hours:

This would the faster minor. For the Statistics minor I will need about ~20 credit hours.

Job wise. Right now I work as a software developer doing server side programming for web application. But i want to getting into working on things like Microsoft Servers, Office, and so on.

Job-wise, it sounds like Statistics would be better. I think Statistics would be more useful to the server-side software developer than, say, advanced linear algebra. Then again, you’d be surprised.

The math minor you propose is sort of a rag-tag thrown-together 'nother couple of courses in more of the same kind of math you’ve already had. What would you take for a statistics minor? Also, could you take a more focused math minor?
