B.S or B.A Degree?

i've transferred as a psychology major, but ucr school doesn't offer a B.S. degree in psychology so therefore I can either get a B.A. or change my major to one that offers a B.S. I know the difference between two degrees, and that a B.S. degree requires more units to graduate, but if one has planned to go to grad. school or med school, will having a B.A, and not a B.S. be towards his/her disadvantage when it comes to admissions selection, and etc. Thanks.

I doubt it will matter for med school, seeing as you don’t have to major in something medically related to get in. As far as I can tell, you just need to do well in the core classes and on the MCAT. As far as grad school goes, I do not know.
