B.Sc in Physics or B.Eng

Hello everybody!

I am interested in studying in Canada this fall and I notice that tuition fees for engineering is 4000-5000 CAD more than for science. I am really interested in energy systems and renewable energy sources. Would getting a bachelor in Engineering Physics be worth those 16000-20000 CAD I would have to pay? I was thinking about getting a bachelor in physics and taking engineering in grad school. 16000$ is not a huge amount, but is it worth it? And what school out of these: U of Alberta, Simon Fraser, McMaster, U of Waterloo and U of Ottawa have better programs and resources to study energy systems?
Thanks in advance!

No opinions ?

University of Waterloo is excellent for engineering. With your requirement for energy systems, I would investigate University of Alberta too.

Engineering will give you a more practical education, hence the name applied science. If you are interested in learning how science is used to address problems, then engineering would be the way to go. If you are interested in learning more about the theory, then physics.

Will I be able to get a Masters in Eng if I have a Bachelor in Physics though ?
