sry, forgot to mention. accepted

We need more data! This thread must be active until admissions close... For the good of the free world!

Yeah... I'd like to know if anyone who COULD see the URSA financial aid summary was rejected...

ACCEPTED
1. YES
2. NO
3. NO

OK, in an effort to help out future students, for the record:

I was able to see my financial aid SUMMARY (not award) through URSA.

I was NOT able to log in to myUCLA until I had been officially accepted in the third batch (today!)

So far, it seems that the theory with the summary was true: if you COULD see your summary, you were in (though NOT being able to see it did NOT mean you were rejected since lots of people who could not see it were also admitted).

Accepted
Fin aid: yes, but it updated pretty close to when I was accepted
MyUCLA: yes
URSA: yes

Accepted
Fin Aid:Yes
MyUCLA:No
URSA: No

Accepted
Theory 1: Yes
Theory 2: Yes
Theory 3: Yes

I guess what we can conclude so far from the data is the following:
1) if you can see any of the 3 you are in.
2) NOT seeing any of the data doesn't necessarily mean rejection.

all it takes is one rejection with 3 Y's to tear this theory to pieces...

Just like any good scientific theory, this whole thing could be taken down by one instance. And it hasn't been. I think this is about as solid as we could hope for.

oorah87 is right.
accepted
Theory 1: No
Theory 2: No
Theory 3: No

but before I got admitted today, I can see my MyUCLA and URSA. After I saw my acceptance letter couple hours later, I saw my financial aid award and summary.

Ok, so you would be 'yes' for two and three, then.

My purpose of doing that is to show that no summary, no URSA, and no MyUCLA do not mean 100% rejection. They may just update it the day you got admitted.

Accepted.
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes

Just wanted to bump this thread since some people are starting to see their financial aid on ursa. So far it seems that being able to see a summary means you’re in for sure. But NOT being able to see it means that you’re still pending…

What exactly about financial aid? I can see all my periods and they say I have no documents (Which is correct because I know I won’t recieve anything so didnt apply) but all those menu options are now available… can anyone not click on these?

The financial aid “clue” is the second tab in the financial section. It’s called something, like, “view my financial aid summary/award on ursa”.
If your summary shows then, supposedly, you’re in.

Hmm, well it loads everything and then says “You do not have a financial aid summary for this period”

NAME
Summary 2009-2010 Academic Year
You do not have a Financial Aid Summary for this Award Period.

I’m guessing that means I don’t have any update, even though the page loaded and I had to click through to it by selecting semester?

it needs to show the summary, it says “you do not have a financial aid summary” therefore it shows nothing yet and means nothing as well.

If you didn’t apply for F/A, you wont get anything in this window

But if you did, wait it out. They havent released L&S majors f/a yet.

i’m scared, I’m all 3 no’s, and this is after being rejected from santa barbara yesterday because i had “too many units”, although that wasn’t a problem with uci, do you guys think ucla will be an*al about too many units.? i’m scared.
