BA degree with 3.3 GPA for MA in internation relations? what are my choices?

<p>Hey guys.
I have a very low gpa and when I graduate I'm hoping to boost it up to 3.3, that's the best I can do. I will graduate with a B.A. degree in Linguistic and Humanity, majoring Geography. My first two year in college was kindda rough. I couldn't decide what should I do between drop off or stay, kindda complicated. My last junior and senior years gpa is 3.9. I've taken all require class for most of the IR program including: Macro/microeconomic, econometrics, international economic, statistic and calculus. I have 100+ hours of volunteer works and internship in an embassy for 2 months.
I'm hoping to get into good IR program in the top schools. Does my low GPA alreay kill my chance to get in, let's say, stanford or columbia? then what are my choices?
I actually wanna go to grad school right after I graduate, but I've talked to some people and they suggest me to work for a couple year before applying, should I?
I really wanna get into the top tier school. Any chances for me even if I get a high GRE score?
:'(</p>

<p>Really need some advice :'(</p>
