I was wondering about the BA in Information Science degree. I have heard about some people in the major who want to become web developers/engineers while other people say that it is more geared towards librarians. I was planning on working in the IT field, and was wondering if a BA in Information Science would get me in the door. I've heard that those that major in Information Science and Systems are in demand becuase a lot of business are technologically advancing. Is the BA in Information Science one of the "in demand degrees" that can get you a job in the IT field (not as a librarian) or would you have to major strictly in computer science?
Thanks
